Fry will step down as CEO

Mercedes have confirmed that Nick Fry will step down from his current position of Chief Executive Officer at the beginning of April. Fry has played an integral role in the Formula One even before Mercedes bought the 2009 Championship-winning Brawn GP outfit. However, his days are numbered as the 59-year-old still soon step down with Executive Director Toto Wolff taking over his role in the day-to-day running of the team. Fry, though, will remain involved with the team's commercial operations as a consultant until at least the end of 2014.
