Pirelli seeking balance between sport and show reveals Brundle

5 April, 2013 Martin Brundle Amid growing criticism of the Pirelli's approach to the 2013 season, Martin Brundle has come out in defence of the sole Formula 1 tyre supplier. After the winter test period and the first two races of 2013, countless drivers and top teams including Red Bull and Mercedes complained loudly that disintegrating tyres are now overly and artificially dominating the sport. Mark Webber sees it as a balance between competition on the one hand, and ‘the show' on the other.
