Vettel visits Sochi circuit
Sebastian Vettel visited the Sochi Winter Olympic Park on Monday, which is the proposed venue for a Russian Grand Prix in 2014.Construction of a race circuit through the park is already underway, with Russian officials keen to utilise the site following the 22nd Winter Olympics next February.
Vettel is the first F1 driver to sample the venue and drove part of the track in a road car as part of an Infiniti event.
"It is a great privilege to be the first Formula 1 driver to visit the new Sochi venue," the triple World Champion said.
