'Silverstone to host Young Driver Test'

This year's Young Driver Test will reportedly take place at the Silverstone circuit and midway through the season. In the past the YDT outing has been held at the end of the year at the Abu Dhabi circuit. Last year, though, two tests were run with some teams opting instead to test at Silverstone in the wake of the British GP. This year, that will be the only option according to Auto Moto und Sport. The German publication claims that the 11 F1 teams have "apparently agreed on a common line" to test at Silverstone with the event taking place "just before the summer break" from 17 to 19 July.
