Formula 1 testing resumes at Duxford
Formula 1 testing has returned to Duxford following María de Villota's serious accident last summer, with Davide Valsecchi completing aero runs in the Lotus E21 on Friday. Nine months ago, de Villota sustained serious injuries after the Marussia she was driving suddenly accelerated, leading her to collide head on with the tailgate of a lorry. The Spaniard suffered major head injuries and ultimately lost her right eye. Four more test days will take place at the Cambridgeshire-based aerodrome in 2013.
