Renault: no backing off for V6 switch

Renault has promised its leading title contenders Red Bull and Lotus that it will push on as hard as it can with the current engines until the end of the season, despite the huge challenge of switching over to new V6 turbos next year. Formula 1's engine manufacturers face an increased workload this year because of the new 2014 regulations, but Renault has made it clear that it will now allow the switchover to compromise its efforts to deliver more world championship titles this year.
