Ferrari 'deny' Allison rumours

Luca di Montezemolo says he "must deny" rumours that former Lotus technical director James Allison is on his way to Ferrari. Earlier this week Lotus confirmed that Allison, who joined them back in 2009, had left the team and would be replaced by Nick Chester. Immediately reports emerged claiming that the Brit would be off to one of Ferrari, McLaren and Mercedes. Ferrari, who Allison previously worked with for five years, has subsequently emerged as the favourite with Autosport claiming that he is close to a return although the "deal is not done yet." However, Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo has refuted this. "I don't know any truth in that," he said....
