Kimi downplays Allison's departure
Kimi Raikkonen has played down James Allison's departure, saying only time will tell if it has an effect on the Lotus team.
Allison, who joined Lotus in 2009, left the team earlier this week and is believed to be Ferrari-bound.
The position of technical director wasn't vacant for long as Lotus have already announced that Nick Chester has replaced the Brit.
Asked whether he was worried that Allison's departure would hurt Lotus, Raikkonen said: "Not really.
"We don't know if it's going to change anything, or what it's going to change.
"Obviously there are people who will replace him already. We'll see if it has any effect on what the future brings.
