Horner: Pirelli tyres to decide 2013 titles

According to Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, the biggest obstacle in this year's championship fight comes in the shape of Pirelli's modified tyre compounds. With degradation levels greater and pit-stop numbers therefore increased, the Briton says understanding the rubber stands out as the most important factor at present. "Whoever masters and understands these tyres best and most consistently will emerge at the end of the year," Horner told the official Formula 1 site in an interview.
