Coletti holds of impressive Frijns
Stefano Coletti extended his championship lead with victory in the GP2 sprint race in Barcelona, holding off feature race winner Robin Frijns. A fantastic opening lap saw Frijns up to second place, and although he erased a five second gap in the closing laps he couldn't put enough pressure on Coletti and had to settle for second. Felipe Nasr came home third ahead of Jolyon Palmer and then a fierce battle for fifth place which was won by an overly-robust Johnny Cecotto Jr. Tom Dillmann stalled at the start from fourth on the grid, with Frijns making a great start up to third from eighth.
