Branson finally dons stewardess overalls
Virgin boss Richard Branson has acted upon the bet he placed with Tony Fernandes three years ago, with the British entrepreneur acting as a stewardess and attending to guests' needs on a flight organised by AirAsia, the airline of the Caterham owner. Back in 2010, Branson and Fernandes placed a bet as to whose team would finish higher in the Constructors' championship. Lotus, now known as Caterham, ended the year tenth, while Virgin Racing, now named Marussia, could only manage 12th. With the losing team owner having to act as a stewardess, plans for the flight were quickly made.
