Van Der Garde Fastest Of F1 Minnows In Barcelona Qualifying
Caterham’s Giedo Van Der Garde was delighted to qualify the fastest of the “new” teams at Barcelona today.
The Dutchman has suffered a difficult time so far this season, but managed to qualify ahead of both Marussias and team mate Charles Pic ahead of tomorrow’s Spanish Grand Prix.
'I'm obviously really pleased with how today's gone, both in FP3 and qualifying. We made a few changes to the car overnight to try and find a balance with the new parts and it's worked out really well,” he said.
