Ecclestone could face bribery charges
Bernie Ecclestone is set to face charges in Germany relating to the Gerhard Gribkowsky bribery case, according to a report in Sueddeutsche Zeitung. The newspaper claims that investigations into the case are now complete and a Munich court is preparing to file charges within the next month. However, there are likely to be delays as the charge sheet needs to be translated into English before being delivered to Ecclestone's lawyers. Ecclestone has said he will cooperate with public prosecutors in Germany following the conviction of Gribkowsky for taking bribes and tax evasion last year.
