Mercedes working hard on Barcelona issues - Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton says Mercedes has been "working really hard" since the Spanish Grand Prix to try and rectify its tyre issues. Mercedes could only convert a front-row lock-out in to sixth and 12th in the race as the team struggled with overheating its tyres. Looking ahead to Monaco, Hamilton said Mercedes had used the few days since Barcelona so far to try and address its problems. "Whilst there hasn't been a lot of time since Barcelona, we've been working hard to put the disappointment of the last race behind us and focus on the opportunities ahead," Hamilton said.
