Lowe adds to strength in depth, says Brawn

"true">Mercedes team boss Ross Brawn has welcomed Paddy Lowe to the outfit with open arms, stating that the former McLaren employee will provide further strength in depth during the crucial transition from V8 engines to turbocharged V6 powerplants. With Brawn continuing to act as Team Principal and Toto Wolff holding the primary executive role, Lowe will join the team on 3 June as Executive Director, having been permitted by McLaren to terminate his contract well before the planned exit date.
