McLaren not giving up on 2013
Things may not have gone according to plan for McLaren so far this campaign, but that doesn't mean the team are ready to give up on this year's car.
Instead of challenging for victories in the opening five races of the year, Jenson Button and Sergio Perez have not only found themselves battling to finish in the top 10, but they have often struggled to make it into Q3.
The team have accumulated only 29 points to date, which leaves them 102 points behind pacesetters Red Bull in the Constructors' Championship.
Despite their woes to date, team principal Martin Whitmarsh says they are determined to make their 2013 model more competitive before they start focusing on next year's car.
