Finding the setup – How to tackle Monaco
Monaco is a circuit that traditionally suits cars that have good mechanical grip. Downforce is a critical element to have around this circuit, as it having a high level of downforce improves traction
Cars that run stiffer suspension tend to be better in the faster corners around race circuits, a it allows the downforce produced by the car to be used more efficiently at high speeds. Therefore at Monaco, a soft suspension setup is what would probably work best. Also, with softer suspension, the tyres tend to last longer.
