Di Resta 'left out to dry' in qualifying
Force India driver Paul di Resta says he was "left out to dry" during this afternoon’s all-important qualifying session in Monaco, with the Scotsman being eliminated from the opening knockout phase after a strategic error in mixed weather conditions. Having posted the seventh fastest time in third practice, di Resta looked set to make it through to the final top ten shootout, but he wound up 17th at the end of a damp Q1 session, with rival drivers making late improvements on fresh Intermediate rubber.
