Traffic prevented Romain Grosjean from improving during qualifying
Romain Grosjean was unable to improve during the latter stages of Q2 due to traffic on his final flying laps, which ultimately saw the Frenchman qualify a lowly 13th despite a competitive display of pace during the three practice sessions prior to qualifying. The 27-year-old praised his mechanics for fixing his car after a heavy impact during practice three.
