Vettel ignores Red Bull again as he breaks record

Sebastian Vettel ignored Red Bull’s request of not attempting to set the fastest lap in the closing stages of the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday resurfacing the German’s repeated defiance of his team. Earlier in the season, the defending champion had ignored team orders at the Malaysian GP and snatched a win from teammate Mark Webber, opting not to hold station in second place as instructed. At Monte Carlo, the 25-year-old chose to ignore his team’s request again.
