Vergne unconcerned by 'boring' race
Jean-Eric Vergne said he was pleased to secure a points finish from a strong weekend in Monaco, despite insisting that his run to eighth place had been 'rather boring'.The Toro Rosso man had started from tenth after breaking into Q3 for the first time and maintained his position for much of the race in a train, with the tight nature of the Monte Carlo streets giving little opportunity to overtake.Having made up places late on after issues for both Sergio Perez and Kimi Raikkonen, Vergne took the flag in eighth spot but while happy to score, he admitted it hadn't been the most action-packed of events from his position.“In some ways, it was rather a boring race, as I never had a clear...
