Williams agree engine deal with Merc

Just two years after signing with Renault, Williams are again swapping engine suppliers after agreeing a "long-term" deal with Mercedes. As of next season, Williams' F1 cars will be powered by Mercedes as the sport makes the transition from V8 engines to 1.6-litre turbocharged V6s. Under the terms of the deal, Williams will be supplied with a Mercedes-Benz Power Unit (Internal Combustion Engine plus Energy Recovery System) but will continue to manufacture their own transmission.
