F1 2013 – Jarno Trulli to sue Tony Fernandes
Former F1 driver Jarno Trulli, who willingly vacated his seat ahead of the 2012 F1 season, says he is suing Caterham owner Tony Fernandes for failing to pay Trulli in full for the 2012 F1 season.Jarno Trulli says he vacated his race set, which also ended his career, so that Russian Vitaly Petrov, who brought more money with him to the team, could take his place.Trulli is quoted as saying “I’m going to sue Fernandes, because he owes me a lot of money.“My career in Formula One ended because I agreed to give up my place, because I was assured that the team would fulfil its contractual obligations.“To date, this has not occurred.”
