Friday puts the brakes on Kimi's track time
Finishing outside the top ten in Friday practice wasn't the start to the Canadian Grand Prix weekend that Lotus F1's Kimi Raikkonen was hoping for or expecting, but problems getting the tyres to their operating temperature in the wet chilly morning conditions followed by a brake issue in the dry afternoon session hampered his efforts."Kimi's session ended early as we made a precautionary stop related to the rear brakes, but it's nothing of concern for the rest of the weekend," said Alan Permane, the team's trackside operations director."We improved the car through the day and by the end of the session it was okay - not ideal but certainly not a disaster either," the...
