Williams: Not what we wanted
Williams deputy team boss Claire Williams says that while the team wasn't expecting miracles in Montreal, they also weren't expecting another point-less race.
Williams recorded their best qualifying performance of this season in the wet at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve as Valtteri Bottas put his FW35 up into third place.
Pastor Maldonado was 13th, also his best starting position of this Championship.
The high of Saturday, though, was drowned out on Sunday as both drivers quickly fell off the pace.
Bottas was down in sixth by the end of the first lap and when the chequered flag fell was P14 and a lap down. Maldonado finished 16th, two laps down.
