Lotus hopes Canada was a one-of
The Lotus team is confident that its cars will be back on the pace at Silverstone after it struggled during this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix.
Lead driver Kimi Raikkonen was lapped title rival and eventual race winner Sebastian Vettel en route to a ninth place finish, although the Finn seemed to struggle during practice and qualifying.
Nevertheless, team principal Eric Boullier is certain that the results at the British Grand Prix will be dramatically different because Silverstone suits the Lotus more.
"This is a very specific track, and with our car we could just not switch the tyres on," Boullier told AUTOSPORT. "It does not help as well when it is cold and it is wet....
