We're never going to win the championship this year - Button

June 11th 2013 (F1plus).- Hot on the heels of his downbeat assessment of McLaren's performance in Canada, Jenson Button has now written off the 2013 title. Montreal marked the first time the team has not scored a point in 65 straight races with Perez finishing 11th followed by Button in 12th. The Briton was quoted saying that “he was never so happy to get off the car” once the race ended. He later added in reference to the troubled development of the MP4-28, the gap to the front of the field remains "massive".
