Vettel ends Ferrari rumours by extending Red Bull contract

Sebastian Vettel has extended his contract with Red Bull by another two years ending all speculation that the German may move to Ferrari anytime soon. The new agreement, announced on Tuesday, ensures that the 25-year-old will remain with the championship winning team for seven seasons. The youngest triple world champion, titles that he has bagged for three straight seasons, is currently leading the standings by 36 points, after he won Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix. During his Formula 1 career, Vettel has achieved 29 wins, 51 podiums and 39 pole positions.
