'Vettel extension a formality'

Christian Horner says extending Sebastian Vettel's Red Bull contract was nothing more than a mere "formality." Earlier this week, Red Bull confirmed that their triple World Champion would be keeping faith with the team by signing a one-year extension. The added season means Vettel will remain with Red Bull Racing until the end of 2015. "It was more of a formality than anything else," Horner told Press Association Sport. "We have a long-term agreement with Sebastian, and it was just perfect timing for both sides to extend for another year."
