Pirelli under fire after multiple tyre failures at Silverstone

SILVERSTONE, UK, Jun.30 Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli is under renewed pressure after multiple failures during the British Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton, just one of four drivers who had spectacular rear failures during the Silverstone race, was comfortably leading when he had his problem. Afterwards, the furious Briton told reporters he was trying to hold his tongue. "Big time," he relented when asked if he is worried about safety. "They need to do something," Hamilton told British broadcaster Sky. On the BBC, the 28-year-old could hold his tongue no longer.
