Sebastian Vettel set the standard during first practice for the Indian Grand Prix on Friday morning. The Red Bull driver, who can claim a fourth successive world title this weekend, clocked a best time of 1:26.683 to lead team-mate Mark Webber by 0.188 seconds, while Mercedes rival Nico Rosberg completed the top three. With a lull in track activity once again occurring after the installation laps, it took around half an hour for the first times to arrive.
