Kovalainen happy to contribute again
Heikki Kovalainen was 'happy to contribute' after taking in another practice session for Caterham on Friday in Abu Dhabi.Kovalainen, left without a drive this year after being replaced in the team's line-up, took over Giedo van der Garde's CT03 for FP1, completing 22 laps in total, his best effort a 1 minute 47.670 seconds, which left him 0.070 seconds off Charles Pic in the sister car.It was the Finn's sixth FP1 outing of the season, after also driving in Japan, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Bahrain.“Generally the car was a bit on the nose to start with.
