Sergio Perez has confirmed that he will be leaving McLaren at the end of this season after just one year with the Woking team. Joining McLaren at the start of this season, Perez had hoped for race victories and a shot at the World title. Instead the team struggled with neither the 23-year-old nor his team-mate Jenson Button even claiming a single podium.
