Perez: I have a comfortable feeling we are in good shape for Australia 1 March, 2014 After a woeful start to his career as a Force India driver in Jerez last month, things did a complete u-turn for Sergio Perez as he ended his final two days of preseason testing in Bahrain top of the timing sheets, and as a result the Mexican travels to the season opening Australian Grand Prix with confidence.
Speaking to media at the end of day two at Sakhir, Perez said, 'Today [Friday] was my last day [in the car] before Friday in Melbourne and to leave this test with a comfortable feeling in the belly makes me believe that we are in good shape for Australia.'
