Red Bull has no plans to drop Renault power

Red Bull has no plans to switch from Renault power to another engine supplier according to the manufacturer's president, Jean-Michel Jalinier. The Frenchman insists Renault has designed a competitive power unit, but admitted the software needs "tweaking" to ensure it drives as expected and he even suggested Red Bull were to blame for some of the problems experienced during pre-season testing. "I am convinced that we have designed a good package," he told Omnicorse. "We have to work on the software but that is outside the freezing.
