Mexico returns to the F1 calendar
Mexico is back on the F1 calendar after a 23-year absense having signed a five-year deal with Bernie Ecclestone. Next season the still-to-be-revamped Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City will host the grand prix. "It is a fact," Corporacion Interamericana de Entretenimient president Alejandro Soberon revealed. "Start your engines, F1 will return to Mexico next year. This is Mexico's time." Ahead of the grand prix, which could be held back-to-back with the Austin race, the venue will be upgraded.
