McLaren confirms Jerez test schedule
McLaren has confirmed its schedule for the opening pre-season test, which takes place at the Jerez circuit from the 1-4 February.
The Woking-based outfit’s 2015 challenger will be unveiled on the 29 January in an online launch.
McLaren announced its driver schedule on Twitter. Fernando Alonso, who returns to the team following five seasons at Ferrari, will be the first to test the MP4-30.
The Spaniard's team-mate Jenson Button will then take over the wheel of the Honda-powered machine, before he returns for day three of the test.
Button will conclude McLaren’s running at Jerez on the fourth and final day. 2015 will be the Englishman’s sixth season with the team.
