Kimi Raikkonen admitted after the Bahrain GP that he just missed out on the victory after ‘running out of laps'. Raikkonen finished Bahrain as the quickest man on circuit, having taken on the medium tyres for a long middle stint of the race. This allowed him to push hard on soft tyres for the final 20 laps, catching the Mercedes drivers ahead of him.
