Mercedes AMG PETRONAS and Lewis Hamilton sign a new three year deal until 2018
The Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team has announced that they have secured a new contract with their driver Lewis Hamilton for the 2016 to 2018 Formula 1 seasons inclusively. Since making his Formula One debut with his former team McLaren in 2007, Hamilton has started every one of his 153 Grand Prix with Mercedes-Benz power. Presently, Hamilton's track record with the German manufacturer includes 36 victories; with 15 of these victories so far were at the wheel of a works Mercedes F1 car. Hamilton joined the Mercedes team in 2013 and won his first race for the team with a great performance in Hungary that year.
