Pirelli sticks with tyre choice for Monza despite Spa issues

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli says it will reveal the results of its investigation into Sebastian Vettel's Belgian GP tyre blowout at Monza this weekend. The Italian manufacturer has also announced that will stick to its tyre choice – softs and mediums, the same compounds used at Spa – in the upcoming Italian Grand Prix. "We have finalised the investigation into Sebastian Vettel's tyre at Spa. Detailed conclusions from the technical analysis will be presented at Monza," said Pirelli boss Paul Hembery in a statement.
