Hamilton cruises to Italian GP victory

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton cruised to victory in the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday to further extend his lead in the F1 2015 Drivers’ Championship. Hamilton made the most of pole position to lead from start-to-finish at Monza to secure his seventh win of the season and the 40th of his career, just one short of equalling the late great Ayrton Senna. It was a dominant weekend for the 2008 and 2014 Formula 1 World Champion with Hamilton topping every session, as well as setting the fastest lap in the race. The victory means he will now go to Singapore in two weeks time for round 13 out of 19 with his championship lead up from 28 points to 53, boosted significantly after the late...
