Kimi Raikkonen admits that a repeat of the Suzuka scenario, where teams have the bulk of their preparation programme to get through in FP3, isn't the perfect start to the Russian Grand Prix weekend, but the Finn is mollified by the fact that no-one will start day two with an advantage. As in Japan, conditions beyond the teams' control – a diesel spillage ahead of FP1 and rain in FP2 – meant that meaningful running was kept to an absolute minimum, with Raikkonen amongst those to not set a timed lap in the afternoon session.
