Hamilton posts best lap in Brazil first practice

Lewis Hamilton posted the fastest practice time at the Brazilian Grand Prix on Friday morning, and Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg was second more than half a second. Formula One champion Hamilton timed the best lap of 1 minute, 13.543 seconds, and Rosberg did 1:14:062. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was third, and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo fourth. Brazilian drivers didn't do well in front of their home crowd: Williams' Felipe Massa was 17th, behind Sauber's Felipe Nasr, 14th. Hamilton won the championship at the U.S. Grand Prix last month. Interlagos hosts the penultimate round of the season.
