Mercedes surpassed expectations in 2015 – Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton says Mercedes surpassed its own expectations in 2015, after finishing the season finale at the Yas Marina Circuit in second place. The British driver, who secured his third world title earlier this year in the USA, struggled to match his team-mate Nico Rosberg throughout the weekend and had to settle for the runner-up spot. 'It’s been a good year,' he said on the podium. 'I’m happy. I’m happy it’s over for sure, so now we can really enjoy it. Really have to take my hat off to the team who once again did an amazing job in building this car.
