Renault: Ilmor impact to be felt in 2016

– Rémi Taffin, Renault Sport F1's Director of Operations, says that the brand's collaboration with Ilmor Engineering has been helpful and will continue into 2016.As it struggled for reliability and performance during the early stages of the 2015 season, Renault sought out Mario Illien's company to assist with engine development.Although none of Ilmor's concepts were used in a late-season upgrade, Renault has noted the benefits of linking up, and expects the impact to be felt in 2016."They were able to bring different concepts to the table, such as a different combustion concept, and now we will continue with them into 2016," Taffin said of Ilmor's involvement."We will...
