De la Rosa urges McLaren to focus on 2017

– Ex-Formula 1 driver Pedro de la Rosa has urged McLaren-Honda to focus its efforts on the 2017 campaign, when new technical regulations are set to come into force.McLaren and Honda endured a dismal reunion in 2015, scoring just 27 points over 19 races, and finishing ahead of only the revived Manor Marussia in the championship standings.Given the struggle, de la Rosa, who made 105 starts in Formula 1, and spent a lengthy phase as McLaren's test driver, reckons 2017 should already be the team's priority."Be regularly in Q3 and score a podium," de la Rosa explained to Spanish newspaper AS, when asked what would mark a successful season for McLaren-Honda in 2016."They...
