Pat Fry joins Manor Racing in consultancy role

Manor Racing have confirmed that Pat Fry will join the team in an engineering consultancy role, adding to a recent spate of technical signings, including ex-Ferrari designer Nikolas Tombazis and Dave Ryan to the role of racing director. The Briton began his Formula 1 career with Benetton in 1987, before mvoing to McLaren in 1993 where he spent several years as their chief engineer of race development. He left McLaren in 2010 and joined Ferrari as assistant technical director, whilst also taking on the role of head of race track engineering, replacing Chris Dyer.
