New Mercedes takes to the track

– Mercedes has today completed the first laps with its 2016 challenger, the W07 Hybrid.The car took to the track for the first time at Silverstone, with the reiging world champions completing just under 100km around the British circuit.Both Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton were on hand to sample the car for the first time, with Rosberg driving the car for much of the day prior to Hamilton taking to the track towards the end of the promotional event.Teams are allowed a number of private testing days complete with a millage cap, however both Rosberg and Hamilton will drive the car extensively at the first official pre-season test next week in Barcelona, where the W07 will make it's...
