Analysis: Ferrari the closest its been all year

Yet again, Ferrari and Mercedes were closely matched during Friday Practice for the Spanish Grand Prix, and if Ferrari get in their first clean weekend, Kahran Vohra investigates if they have to legitimate pace to claim victory, given their strong race pace.  Mercedes may have been fastest during the qualifying-simulations, and is no surprise, given the advancement of the Mercedes W07 – but Ferrari can excel during the race, where temperatures are expected to be very hot, and as Ferrari demonstrated during their race-simulation runs on Friday – there could be a real fight on our hands. The margin however remains quite tight, which means Ferrari will need to get a clean weekend...
