Wehrlein: Our target is Sauber

Ahead of the European Grand Prix in Baku, Manor driver Pascal Wehrlein has claimed that they will be targeting Sauber as their main rival once again. The young Mercedes development driver out-qualified Sauber drivers Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson last Saturday at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. However, during the race, Ericsson managed to finish ahead of Wehrlein, something the German laments while also hoping for an improvement this weekend. 'The great thing about Baku is that it's new for everyone – all the teams and all the drivers – so it's a case of mastering the circuit better than your competition,' he said.
